This deep dish steak a& wild mushroom pie is simple to make with a golden flaky puff pastry top made with jus. Many bakeries that specialize in this type of puff pastry will have a separate area where they wrap the rolls. No artificial colours or flavours my son usually makes puff pastry for me when we have steak & kidney pie, but he didn't have time this week so i bought this.

And best of all it's super easy to make!

Find stacks of hearty recipes, from steak and kidney to steak and ale. It is quite a while since i posted a recipe, so i thought i would dust off the cooking utensils and pull something together. The dish is often served with steak chips (thickly sliced potatoes fried, sometimes in beef dripping).
